Terms of Use

The service

OneStep helps you break a goal into a plan — milestones, action steps, and habits — and track your progress against it. Plans are generated with the help of an AI model based on the goal, timeline, and time budget you provide. AI-generated plans are suggestions, not professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or otherwise) — use your own judgment before acting on them.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be able to form a legally binding contract to create an account, and the app is not directed at children under 13.

Acceptable use

Don't use OneStep to submit unlawful, abusive, or harmful content, attempt to disrupt or abuse the service, or access another user's data without authorization.

Subscriptions

OneStep offers an optional auto-renewing premium subscription (Apple App Store / Google Play). By subscribing, the following applies:

• Price and billing period are shown at the time of purchase in the App Store or Play Store listing before you confirm.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's subscription settings (in the app: Settings → Manage Subscription, which deep-links there directly). No refund is given for the unused portion of a period if you cancel mid-cycle, except as required by Apple's or Google's own refund policies.

Your content

You own the goals, steps, and habits you create. You grant us a license to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you (including sending goal text to our AI provider to generate a plan, as described in the Privacy Policy).

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently erases your data (see the Privacy Policy for details). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

OneStep is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
